Marty McGough
Vice President, Market Insights
Marty brings a diverse background in market research, polling, and media analysis to Campos Inc’s research services team. Marty is responsible for helping provide strategic direction to research projects and for distilling insights that help Campos Inc clients achieve their business objectives. He is a seasoned focus group moderator who also has experience with quantitative research. Marty’s areas of specialization include branding, corporate reputation, message development, and market potential.
Marty has over 20 years of experience designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research projects for Fortune100 companies, major not-for-profits and associations, government institutions, and political candidates. He was responsible for overseeing award-winning research for several campaigns, including Johnson & Johnson’s Campaign for Nursing’s’ Future, Health and Human Services’ Take A Stand. Lend A Hand -- Stop Bullying Now, and the Kellogg Foundation’s Be a Local Hero campaign. Research he conducted on PTSD/medically unexplained symptoms and bioterrorism has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
Marty received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA and his Master of Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. He also pursued PhD studies at the University of Toronto, where he taught for two years. Marty continues to volunteer for the youth-advocacy organizations that focus on reducing teen violence and bullying.
